Ada answers from your business — not the open internet.

Carlsbad Web & AI builds Ada, a chatbot that answers from your business content instead of the open internet, for companies in Carlsbad and greater San Diego. It answers around the clock, says when it is unsure, and hands off to you. Ada is $449 to build plus $39 monthly. Perfect accuracy is not guaranteed.

  • You own the code

01 — Who this is for

Built for these people.

  • Businesses answering the same ten questions on the phone all day
  • Owners losing after-hours inquiries to whoever replies first
  • Sites with real depth — menus, policies, catalogs — that visitors never read
  • Anyone who wants to know what customers are actually asking

02 — What it sounds like

If you have said one of these, you are in the right place.

  • Half my day is hours, pricing, and parking.

  • People message at nine at night and by morning they have booked somewhere else.

  • The answer is on the site. Nobody finds it.

  • I tried a generic chatbot and it made things up about my business.

03 — What you end up with

The outcome.

Ada answers from your content, around the clock, in your tone — and says so when it does not know instead of guessing. You get a transcript of every question asked.

Live, inspectable build. Measured business outcome pending client approval.

What this is not

  • Not a general-purpose AI. Ada answers from your content and declines the rest.
  • Not a promise of perfect answers. Ada states uncertainty and hands off to a human.
  • Not a phone or SMS system. Ada lives on your website.
  • Not a replacement for your team. It takes the repeat questions so you can take the real ones.

04 — What you get

Everything that ships.

  • 01

Ada, grounded in your pages, policies, menus, and FAQs

  • 02

A one-line embed that drops into the site you already have

  • 03

A tone and boundary brief — what Ada says, and what it refuses

  • 04

A stated uncertainty answer and a clean handoff to a human

  • 05

A readable transcript of every conversation

  • 06

A tuning round after launch, then monthly as you learn what people ask

  • 07

AI usage included in the monthly — no metered surprise

05 — Proof

Work you can open and inspect.

06 — How it runs

Four steps, in this order.

  1. Step 01

    Collect the source of truth

Pages, policies, menus, price lists, and the answers you type over and over. Ada answers from these and from nothing else.

  2. Step 02

    Set the boundaries

We write the tone and the refusals together: what Ada says, what it will not touch, and the moment it should hand the conversation to you.

  3. Step 03

    Build and test

We embed Ada, then interrogate it with the hardest questions you actually get. Anything wrong gets fixed in the grounding content, not papered over in the prompt.

  4. Step 04

    Launch and tune

You read the transcripts. What people ask is never quite what you expected, and Ada gets tuned every month on that evidence.

07 — Scope and price

What it costs, and where it stops.

Ada is $449 to build plus $39 a month for one site, including AI usage and monthly tuning. In the $849 bundle with a new website, the monthly is $59 total. Integrations with bespoke internal systems are quoted separately.

Anything outside that gets quoted in writing before we start, not discovered halfway through. Every plan and every number is published.

08 — Questions

Before you ask.

How long until Ada is live?
One to two weeks from kickoff, once we have the documents it answers from. Most of that time goes into testing answers rather than building anything.
What does Ada need to learn from?
Whatever a good new employee would read: your pages, hours, pricing, policies, menu or catalog, and the questions you answer most. If a fact is not in there, Ada says it does not know.
Do we own Ada and the conversation data?
Yes. You own the configuration, the grounding content, and the transcripts, and you hold the keys. Nothing about it is locked to us.
What if Ada gets something wrong?
You tell us and we fix the source it answered from. Tuning is included every month. Ada is built to say when it is unsure rather than invent an answer, but no chatbot is perfect and we will not pretend otherwise.
