06 — How it runs
Four steps, in this order.
Step 01
Audit
We go through the current site the way a customer does, then the way a crawler does. You get a ranked, written list of what it is costing you.
Step 02
Rewrite the structure
Pages, headings, and the order of the argument, settled before any visual design. This is where most of the value in a redesign actually is.
Step 03
Design and rebuild
A custom design and a hand-built Next.js site, with every old URL mapped to a new one as we go.
Step 04
Launch and watch
We ship with redirects in place, verify in Search Console, and watch the first weeks closely for anything the migration missed.
07 — Scope and price
What it costs, and where it stops.
A redesign runs on the same Website plan: $449 to build plus $29 a month, covering up to five core pages, two rounds of revisions, and a CMS. Larger sites, catalogs, and complicated migrations are scoped and quoted before we start.
Anything outside that gets quoted in writing before we start, not discovered halfway through. Every plan and every number is published.
08 — Questions
Before you ask.
- How long does a redesign take?
- Two to four weeks from kickoff for a standard five-page site, once content is in hand. Migrations with a lot of existing pages take longer, because mapping every old URL to a new one is careful work.
- Can we keep our existing content?
- Usually, and we would rather sharpen what you have than start over. We restructure the headings, cut what is not earning its place, and tell you the few things that genuinely need writing.
- What happens to our old site?
- You get an archive of it, and you own everything in the new one: code, content, domain, and keys. Nothing lands on a platform you cannot walk away from.
- What happens after launch?
- The $29 a month covers hosting, security updates, backups, and small changes. After a redesign we also watch Search Console for the first weeks to catch anything the migration missed.
