Web design and AI for Vista businesses.
Carlsbad Web & AI builds custom websites and Ada AI assistants for businesses in Vista, California — the breweries and light industry in the Vista Business Park, downtown Vista Village, and the trades working the whole inland corridor. We are twenty minutes west in Carlsbad. Builds start at $649 plus $39 monthly.
- Beer
- Most microbreweries in the county after San Diego
- Industry
- Vista Business Park — light industry and brewing
- Downtown
- Vista Village
- Studio
- Twenty minutes west, in Carlsbad

01 — Who this is for
Built for these people.
- Breweries and taprooms with a rotating list, a taproom calendar, and no way to publish either
- Manufacturers, fabricators, and suppliers in the business park selling to other businesses
- Contractors and trades running the inland corridor from Vista
- Downtown restaurants and venues competing with the taproom two units over
02 — What it sounds like
If you have said one of these, you are in the right place.
“Buyers ask for a line card and we email them a PDF from 2019.”
“Our taproom calendar lives on Instagram and nowhere a search engine can read it.”
“We are a serious manufacturer with a website that looks like a hobby.”
“People find the brewery but cannot tell whether we are open or what is pouring.”
03 — What you get
The same build, wherever you are.
01
A custom design, drawn for the business
No template, no page builder, no theme with your logo dropped into it. Layouts are drawn for what you sell and who walks in.
02
A hand-built Next.js site on Vercel
Server-rendered, so a phone on a bad connection in a parking lot gets the page, not a loading spinner.
03
Up to five core pages
Home, the thing you actually sell, proof, about, contact. Structured for how people read before they call.
04
A CMS you can edit yourself
Change hours, prices, and a phone number without emailing us. Holiday hours are not a support ticket.
05
Local structured data
LocalBusiness schema with your real address, hours, and service area, so search engines and assistants get it from the source.
06
Mobile, keyboard, and screen-reader testing
Before launch, on real devices. Every page has to work with a keyboard alone.
07
Ada, if you want her
The AI assistant that answers questions on your site at 11pm and hands you the transcript. Optional, $499 to build, then $49 a month, never bolted on by surprise.
04 — Getting found in Vista
What being findable here actually takes.
01
B2B is the least contested search in this city
Half of Vista sells to other businesses, and almost none of them have written a page per product line, capability, or material. A buyer searching a specification is the highest-intent traffic there is, and right now they land on PDFs. This is the cheapest ranking opportunity in North County.
02
For a taproom, what is pouring IS the content
A tap list and a calendar held as real content can be indexed and quoted back by an assistant answering what is on tonight. Held as an Instagram story, they are invisible an hour later. This is the single biggest difference between brewery sites that pull people in and ones that do not.
03
Line cards, spec sheets, and capabilities as pages
A PDF is a dead end: slow, unreadable on a phone, and largely invisible to search. The same information as real pages is findable, quotable, linkable, and updatable by you — and it is what a procurement search actually returns.
04
Service area stated honestly
Vista, Oceanside, San Marcos, Escondido, wherever you genuinely go. Named where it is true, in the service area and the directions, and nowhere else. Stuffed city lists are a penalty, not a strategy.
05 — Proof
Nothing in Vista yet.
We have not built a site in Vista yet, so there is nothing here to show. Filling the space with unrelated work would tell you nothing about what we would do for you.
What we can show you is everything else the studio has shipped — live sites you can open, inspect, and judge on their own terms.
06 — How it runs
Four steps, in this order.
Step 01
Audit and brief
We look at your site, your map listing, and the competitors outranking you, and send the findings in writing before anyone designs anything. Free, and yours whether or not you hire us.
Step 02
Design
Layouts for the pages that matter, in your colours and your type. Two rounds of revisions, then it locks and we build.
Step 03
Build
Hand-coded in Next.js. Content goes into a CMS you can edit, and we test on real phones and with a keyboard before you see it.
Step 04
Launch and hand over
We point the domain, watch it for a week, and hand you the keys. You own the code and the accounts. Leaving is a repo transfer, not a negotiation.
07 — Scope and price
Same prices. No zip-code markup.
A five-page custom site is from $649 to build and $39 a month to host, maintain, and keep updated. Adding Ada, the AI assistant, makes it from $949 to build, then $79 a month. Ada on an existing site is $499 to build, then $49 a month. Large product catalogues and line cards run past five pages, so they are counted and quoted in writing before we start.
Anything outside that gets quoted in writing before we start, not discovered halfway through. Every plan and every number is published.
08 — Questions
Before you ask.
- We sell to businesses, not consumers. Is this still the right thing to buy?
- More so, honestly. B2B pages in Vista are barely contested — most of your competitors have a brochure site and a PDF line card. A page per capability or product line, written in the language a buyer searches, is the highest-return work available in this city, and it is exactly what the five-page build covers before we start counting extra pages.
- Can you publish our tap list without us having to think about it?
- You update it from a phone behind the bar and the site, the schema, and anything reading the site all change together. Automatic syncing from a POS or an inventory system is possible, but it is an integration and gets quoted separately once we have seen what you run.
- Do you have a brewery in the portfolio?
- Two hospitality builds, both concept demos and both labelled as such: Churchill's in San Marcos and the Shakespeare in San Diego, each built around a live tap list and a calendar. Neither is a Vista client and neither was commissioned. They are on the work page, open, and worth ten minutes if a taproom site is what you are buying.
- Who owns the site when it is done?
- You do. The code, the domain, the analytics, and the hosting account are all in your name, and the repository transfers to you on request. The monthly fee buys hosting and maintenance, not custody of your website.
09 — Start with the audit
Find out what is actually broken.
Send one Vista URL and we will tell you the five things costing you the most, in writing, whether or not you hire us. We reply within two business days.
