The Gilded Fisherman homepage — navy and antique gilt editorial layout for a coastal boutique
Live client build — The Gilded Fishermangildedfisherman.com

02Proof first

Coastal boutique - Shopify OS 2.0

The Gilded Fisherman

What the business needed
A physical shop with a following built on foot traffic and Instagram, and no storefront of her own online. Inventory lived in a camera roll and in her head, and nearly every piece is a single unit — the one-of-a-kind problem most retail templates are designed to ignore.
What we built
  • A homepage organized around four named departments, with a seasonal-arrivals carousel.
  • The Collection — a full catalogue with a tailored detail page for every piece.
  • Our Story, Journal, and Visit pages, plus a contact path and a map link to the Pine Ave shop.
Our exact role
Designed and built the site end to end, then ported the finished design into a custom Shopify OS 2.0 theme the owner updates herself.
Result
Live, inspectable build. Measured business outcome pending client approval.

03Why people call

Three problems, every time.

  1. 01

The site looks dated — or never says why you are different.

A page builder can hold your hours and your phone number. It cannot explain why someone should pick you, and a visitor decides that in about the time it takes the page to finish loading.

Lifted out of an Elementor page builder into a hand-built site

  2. 02

Local customers cannot find you, or cannot understand you fast.

Being in the map pack and being understandable are the same problem seen twice: your facts have to be stated once, plainly, in a form Google, maps, and AI answer engines can read and quote.

Leads with the mechanic, not the adjective — the offer is explained before it is praised

  3. 03

Leads arrive after hours and get no useful answer.

The nine-at-night question is the one you lose. Ada answers from your own content, says so when it is unsure, and hands the conversation to you rather than inventing something.

Unsolicited concept demo — A concierge grounded in one pub's own tap list, hours, and events

  • The Gilded Fisherman homepage — navy and antique gilt editorial layout for a coastal boutique

Client work · Coastal boutique - Shopify OS 2.0

    The Gilded Fisherman

An Old Florida boutique on Anna Maria Island: editorial navy-and-gilt layouts, four named departments, and a page for every one-of-a-kind piece — shipped as a custom Shopify theme the owner runs herself.

    • Owner-editable Shopify OS 2.0 theme — she adds pieces, photos, and copy with no developer in the loop.
    • Section-based templates, so page composition is rearranged in the Shopify admin rather than in code.
    • A tailored product page per piece across the catalogue, served as WebP from Shopify's image CDN.

  • The Triple G Payments homepage — gold-on-black hero over the cannabis payment infrastructure headline

Client work · Cannabis-commerce payments - static Vite build

    Triple G Payments

Payment infrastructure for licensed dispensaries, in gold-on-black: a rebate calculator whose inputs carry into the application, a clickable terminal demo, and a ten-row comparison against a typical current provider.

    • Static ES-module build on Vercel with no framework hydration payload — no __NEXT_DATA__, no island runtime in the page.
    • Calculator state carries into the review-request form, so the numbers an operator modeled travel with the lead.
    • Content-hashed Vite bundles behind Vercel's edge cache.

  • The EllaCash homepage after the rebuild — a rotating headline over the Remote ATM cash-access pitch

Client work · Dispensary cash access - hand-built static site

    EllaCash ATM

A dispensary cash-access company lifted out of a dated Elementor page builder into a hand-built static site: the Remote ATM flow explained step by step, a two-step fit check, and a compliance section written to be read closely.

    • No CMS, framework, or site generator — the shipped HTML is the source, readable in view-source.
    • GSAP, ScrollTrigger, and the webfonts are served from the site's own origin, so the render path pulls no third-party scripts or fonts.
    • Versioned query strings on CSS and JS give deterministic cache busting on every deploy.

All the work — including two labelled concept demos and the founder’s in-house build

One rebuild, before and after.

The same job — explain the product. The old page-builder answered with template feature cards and stray stock photos; the rebuild walks the 60-second transaction step by step, a record at every stage. Live today at ellacashatm.com.

Asked before, answered straight.

Anything else, ask Ada — she answers these live, any hour.

  • From kickoff, once we have your content: Website 2–4 weeks. Website + Ada 3–5 weeks. We move in small, visible steps so you are never waiting in the dark.

  • A website starts from $449 to build, then $29 a month for hosting, updates, and support, and we put an exact number in writing once we have seen the scope. Ada on a site you already have is $299 to build, then $39 a month. The two together start from $699 to build, then $59 a month. If the build fee is the problem, a website can also be financed — $149 to start, then $59 a month for 12 months, and $29 a month after that — which is a fixed twelve-month term rather than the month-to-month the up-front path gives you. Paying up front costs less in total.

  • Yes. You get the full codebase, the CMS, and the keys. No proprietary lock-in and no surprise hosting markup.

  • It answers from your real content with guardrails, says so when it is unsure, and hands off to a human when it should. You get a view of every question it is asked.

  • Not at all. The studio is young too, which is why you get senior attention, a published starting price, and a quote that depends on the scope rather than on how you look. There are live sites we built that you can open and inspect, and we would rather you did that than take our word for anything.
